I had a wonderful visit last Sunday at the Christian Covenant Church in Victorville, CA just outside of Los Angeles. It seems like a few days before I went down to the LA area to visit a friend, my friend was in one of these big stores when, as going down an aisle, she met a lady praying for another lady. My friend stopped to see what was happening and soon found herself being prayed for and she was very quickly was covered with an incredible amount of love. My friend was invited to the church of the praying lady.As I was planning my own visit down and what church we would attend on Sunday, my friend suggested I go to this church. I said ok. She then said it was a “black” church. I said that made no difference. She then said it was a very small church. I said that made no differrence. So that’s where we went.Paster Lance Tucker, his wife, Wanda, and the rest of the congregation showered so much love in us – I was really blessed. The “praying lady”, Wanda, was the pastor’s wife. The pastor told me she likes to run around the store aisles and pray for people. She had shared what happened that day with my friend at dinner with her husband that evening. He, then, shared it with the congregation that morning when we showed up. Ten people were that that morning in the congregation. Rich service. Great message.Thank you Lance and Wanda along with the others. May God bless your ministry!
