Rachael Scdoris – Winner!

Rachael Scdoris became the first legally blind person to complete the brutal Alaskan Iditarod Sled Dog Race dog race today. Rachael completed the 1100 miles over wilderness terrian with temperatures to -52 degress F and winds to 60 miles an hour in approcimately 12 days. Her first attempt was in 2005, but could not complete the run when her dogs got sick. This year she did the entire run.
