For our Portland Readers:Please join us for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Movie – Portland “Sneak Peek” on September 29, 2005 at 1:30pm in the Johnson Chapel at the Western Seminary (located at 5511 SE Hawthorne Blvd, on the West side of Mt. Tabor in SE Portland).You will be able to view exclusive preview footage from the film (produced by Walt Disney Pictures & Walden Media with Weta, the computer animators from the Lord of the Rings trilogy and set to be released on Friday, December 9, 2005), receive ideas and materials to prepare your church or ministry for using this movie as an outreach tool and meet other church leaders in the community. The primary purpose of this Sneak Peek event (which is not a full screening of the film) is to prepare you for the evangelistic outreach opportunities presented by the film through partnerships with Mission America(http://www.missionamerica.org/Brix?pageID=15533).This is free – no registration necessary – and lasts about 90 minutes.
